My little bit seems to be growing into her own person at an alarming rate. She definitely has found her voice and is not even a little bit afraid to use it. She is hilarious and has this funny little voice that sounds amazingly like PeeWee Herman when she is trying to be funny. For the most part she has a very pleasant demeanor, but I'm starting to glimpses of the two year old peeking out and all I can say is WOW. I'm not really looking forward to it, but this too shall pass and will bring many new phases and fun things as well.
Her newest demand comes when we are in the car. With the weather being cooler, we forego the AC and roll the windows down. Grace now expects her window to be lowered at her request ANY time we are in the car. Today was not a good day for the windows to be down as it is raining. However, she wholeheartedly disagreed with a, "DOWN! 'NDOW DOWN!" Both Elijah and I explained that it was raining outside and the window could not, therefore, be rolled down. Grace replied, "Rain?" "Yes Gracie, it's raining." Gracie replied, "NO! DOWN DOWN DOWN!" Eventually she wears herself out or gets distracted, but the first couple minutes in the car, can be trying. And heaven forbid you crack your window to let a bug out or something... sigh... At least she knows what she wants!
She is my little apple stealer, puddle jumping, model, stuffed animal cuddler, shadow player, painter, cheese ball, sneaky, shoe lovin', jack-o-latern carver, shaving cream covered, curious, peek-a-boo playing, smiley, big girl swinging, beautiful baby love!

we measured her last night and she is an inch and a half taller than elijah was at 18 months! :o we may have two basketball players in the family!!
Awwww. Like I said yesterday, I simply love that little girl squeaky voice. It melts my heart! And she gives such great hugs!!!!
